My third act.
I’m planning to move from Georgia to the Netherlands through DAFT—the Dutch-American Friendship Treaty—and I’m going to document the journey here.
The practical stuff. The surprises. The mistakes. Finding a place to live. Setting up a small business. Figuring out the bureaucracy. And, eventually, figuring out what everyday life looks like on the other side of the Atlantic.
I don’t have it all figured out.
That’s part of the point.
I’ve spent a lot of time traveling and thinking about where I actually want to live, and I keep coming back to the Netherlands. It feels like the right place to try something new. It feels the most like home.
So this is post #1.
